PPL Electric Rate Case Settled: PUC Cuts Requested Increase from $356M to $275M

he Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission issued its order approving the settlement in the PPL Electric Utilities rate proceeding, resolving a case in which PPL sought a revenue requirement increase of approximately $356 million, compared to a settled revenue requirement of approximately $275 million. The decision largely adopts the negotiated resolution reached by the parties following extensive litigation and settlement discussions.
