Employer’s Authority to Enforce Safety Expectations Upheld in Recent DOL OSHA Decision

The Decision, rendered today in favor of employer, makes clear that when an employer provides clear job expectations and opportunities to act safely within those expectations, employee may be terminated for failure to fulfill those expectations.
